Terms of Service

1. Scope and Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the pambid website, PWA, notifications, and related features (collectively, the “Service”) provided by the operator of pambid (the “Operator”).
By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.
2. Eligibility and Minors
You represent that you can validly agree to these Terms under applicable law. A minor must obtain parental or guardian consent where required.
3. Accounts
- Keep registration details accurate and current and do not share authentication credentials.
- You are responsible, to a reasonable extent, for activity through your account. Promptly notify the Operator if you learn of unauthorized use.
- Impersonation, use of an email address obtained without authority, and rating manipulation through multiple accounts are prohibited.
4. Service and Fees
Features for general users are provided free of charge. You may optionally subscribe to monthly support for the operation of pambid. Monthly support does not purchase additional features. The price, renewal, payment, and cancellation terms are shown immediately before checkout and in the Commercial Transaction Disclosure.
Stripe charges monthly support when you subscribe, and it renews automatically each month until cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, user-requested cancellations are not prorated or refunded. You remain responsible for connectivity, equipment, and other access costs.
5. User Content and Publication
You or the applicable rights holder retain rights in reviews, ratings, bug reports, comments, game requests, articles, images, and other content you submit (“User Content”).
You grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, display, search, back up, moderate, translate, reformat, and explain features of the Service. After deletion, this license continues only as needed for law, disputes, and a reasonable backup period.
Automated translations may contain errors. The original submission controls if versions differ.
6. Review Integrity
Base reviews and ratings on your own experience or verifiable facts. If compensation, a relationship, or a supplied product affects a submission, disclose it as required by law and accepted standards.
Bots, automation, coordinated manipulation, fabricated experiences, multiple accounts used by one person, ratings exchanged for money or benefits, and coercion of another person’s rating are prohibited.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Violating law, public policy, or these Terms
- Infringing copyright, trademark, privacy, reputation, or another person’s rights
- Threats, discrimination, harassment, fraud, obscenity, facilitation of unlawful conduct, or improper disclosure of personal information
- Malware, excessive access, scraping, vulnerability probing, or bypassing authentication, rate limits, Turnstile, or other controls
- Spam, unauthorized advertising, phishing, impersonation, or unrelated solicitation
- Misrepresenting the Service, a game, a developer, or another user
- Otherwise interfering with operation of the Service or another person’s use
8. Exclusion of Antisocial Forces
You represent that you are not an organized crime group, a member of such a group, or another equivalent antisocial force, and that you will not use or fund such a force or use violence, fraud, or intimidation to make an improper demand against the Operator or another person.
9. Moderation and Restrictions
If the Operator reasonably determines that content or conduct violates law or rights, breaches these Terms, creates a security issue, or materially harms service quality, the Operator may hide or remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete an account. Except in urgent situations, we will provide a reason or available next step where reasonably possible.
A false positive or moderation decision may be challenged through the contact form.
10. Intellectual Property
Rights in Service software, design, logos, text, and other elements created by the Operator belong to the Operator or the relevant rights holder. Rights in game names, images, trademarks, and external data belong to their respective owners. Listing them does not transfer rights or imply an official affiliation.
11. External Services and Links
Stores, official sites, social networks, Google, Twitch, and other external services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The Operator does not control or guarantee external content, availability, transactions, or losses.
12. Notifications
If enabled, we may send email, Web Push, or in-service notices about releases, game requests, comments, security, and related matters. Optional notices can be stopped through settings or unsubscription. Authentication and important security notices may not be optional.
13. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures, safety, legal compliance, or operational need. We will endeavor to give reasonable advance notice of foreseeable material changes.
14. Disclaimer
The Service is provided with reasonable care, but the Operator does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or absence of errors or harmful components. Reviews and similar content express their authors’ views. Decisions to purchase, play, or otherwise act remain your responsibility.
15. Limitation of Liability
Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Operator, the Operator is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for indirect, special, or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data arising from the Service.
If Japan’s Consumer Contract Act or another mandatory law applies, limitations including this Section apply only to the extent permitted and do not exclude statutory rights.
16. User Responsibility
If you violate these Terms or law and cause loss to the Operator or a third party, you may be responsible for resolving the matter at your cost and compensating ordinary and direct loss.
17. Account Closure
To request deletion of the entire account, use the contact form. After identity verification, the request will be processed within a reasonable period, except for data needed for law, security, disputes, and backup. Some public submissions may be deleted individually.
18. Changes to These Terms
The Operator may change these Terms when a change benefits users generally or is necessary and reasonable without contradicting the contractual purpose. Material changes and their effective date will be announced in advance through the Service. Continued use after the effective date is governed by the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the Operator’s address has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over Service-related disputes.
20. Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, it will be limited to the minimum necessary extent and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
21. Language
These Terms are provided in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. If translations conflict, the Japanese version controls to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
